What’s Hillside Baptist Church all about?

We want to glorify God by learning God’s Word in order to live out the principles of God’s Word. This causes us to prioritize the Bible’s main message of sharing that man can be saved from the penalty of their sin by trusting in Jesus Christ to forgive them.

Which service should I attend first?

You are more than welcome to attend any of our services. However, most first-time visitors choose to attend our Sunday Morning Worship Service at 10:00 AM. This service includes relevant, worshipful music, prayer, and a clear, helpful message from the Bible. This service usually lasts about an hour and offers childcare during the service.

What about my children?

*Temporary Update: We are currently not offering a nursery during our Sunday Morning service.  Children are welcome to sit with their families in the auditorium or in the fellowship hall (overflow seating with live stream) during the service. We are offering a Jr Church program for Children age 2 – 2nd grade that meets after the songs and before the sermon.

Hillside has an excellent nursery during our Sunday Services. It is there for your convenience, but if you desire to keep your young one’s with you during the service, that is fine too.

Sunday School has age-graded classes for children 2 years old up to 12th grade. Our teachers are always welcoming to visitors, well trained, and enjoy teaching the Bible. They strive to keep their classes active and offer a variety of age-appropriate teaching techniques.

Morning Worship Service offers nursery as well as a Junior Church program for children ages 3 to 5 and a Junior Church Plus program for children ages 5 through the 3rd grade.

What is the dress code?

There is no dress code at Hillside. Dress at Hillside is diverse as some attendees dress in traditional  “Sunday” dress, while others do not. The only thing that is asked of those attending is that they dress modestly. Our main goal is that you are greeted and feel welcomed as you join us for any service.
