WHAT’S HILLSIDE BAPTIST CHURCH ALL ABOUT?
We desire to glorify God by learning God’s Word in order to live out the principles of God’s Word. In our teaching times, worship time, fellowship times, and in times of serving, we seek to share the main message of the Bible: God sent His Son to save humanity from their sin and death.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT IF I VISIT?
You are more than welcome to attend any of our services. However, most first-time visitors choose to attend our Sunday Morning Worship Service, held at 10:00 AM. We have a welcome team that can answer any of your specific concerns and will greet you with hospitality. Our church service includes relevant, worshipful music, prayer, and a clear, biblical message. This service usually lasts about an hour and offers childcare throughout.

WHAT ABOUT MY CHILDREN?

Hillside offers nursery care during our Sunday Morning Services. It is there for your convenience, but if your desire to keep your young one’s with you during the service, that is fine too.

Sunday School (9:00) has age-graded classes for children 2-years-old up to 12th grade. Our well-trained teachers are always welcoming to visitors and enjoy teaching the Bible. They strive to keep their classes active and offer a variety of age-appropriate teaching techniques.

During our Sunday Morning Worship we also offer a Junior Church program for children ages 2-PreK and a Kids’ Church program for children in Kindergarten-4th grade.

All Children’s Workers are vetted with a full background check and follow strict procedures for the safety of every child.

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?

There is no dress code at Hillside. Dress at Hillside is diverse, with some attendees dressing in more traditional  “Sunday” dress, while many others are more casual. Our main goal is that you are greeted and feel welcomed as you join us for any service.

WHAT BIBLE TRANSLATION DO YOU USE?

We use a small variety of translations. Our lead Pastor, Kevin Fath, typically will preach from the New King James Version, while our associate pastor, Rick Thompson, usually preaches from the English Standard Version.
